Our Process: Crafting Your Disney Adventure
Our goal is to make your Disney experience as seamless and stress-free as possible while maximizing the magic.
How It Works
Once you book with us, we’ll have a call a few weeks before your trip to go over key details—your group’s heights, trip goals, must-do attractions, park priorities, and preferences for early morning rope drop, park closing, afternoon breaks, and more.
From there, we handle your Lightning Lane (LL) reservations (with purchases charged to your card on file in the My Disney Experience app) and plan your park days strategically. Throughout the day, we guide you based on crowd levels, wait times, and LL availability—always optimizing to get you as many experiences as possible.
Why We Started Adventure Authors
After founding DPD 10 years ago and helping people navigate Disney for years—especially since the introduction of Genie+—we launched Adventure Authors. In talking to past Disney guests, many felt other guiding services were too rigid, becoming frustrated when plans changed—whether a family wanted to sleep in, take an afternoon break, or pivot mid-day.
That’s why we do what we do. Flexibility is key. This isn't our full-time job (yet), but it’s our passion. Our approach is about guiding, not dictating—offering expert recommendations while letting you shape your own adventure.
Tailoring Each Day to You
Every trip is different. We had one client who prioritized minimal walking at EPCOT, so we crafted an itinerary with well-timed Lightning Lanes and built-in stops like the Encanto show and Journey of Water with Moana. Another family did After Hours the night before and ended up arriving at the park at 10 AM instead of rope drop—no problem! We adjusted their schedule on the fly to ensure a great day.
Pricing & Why We’re Worth It
Our pricing begins at $400 per day and varies based upon party size.
At the end of the day, we study the science of Disney: Lightning Lane drops, park flow, efficient rope drops, weather, and all the insider tricks—so you don’t have to. We take the mental load off your plate, allowing you to simply enjoy the experience without stressing over the next reservation or long walks across the park.
